Cor - I think I was the Very Last pinch hit: #334! Should I be proud? :) I hadn't even noticed I was on the list until now, because I was busy writing my second pinch hit and a treat-fic too. I seem to have had more time to write this Christmas, although I'm getting a bit exhausted now - mmm, looking forward to the reveal tomorrow \o/

I have no words for just how friggen amazing this whole thing is. HOMG. Got a phonecall from carouselcity this evening and after exchanging squee over Christmas presents, she linked me to the above video which she found [ here on ontd_startrek (+transcription) ]. Of course she made me listen to it whilst on the phone to her which made me all OMG AWKWARD HAHA but I love it and really, when you find something this awesome, it's practically ones public duty to spread it around like wildfire! haha. ENJOY, FLIST!

The things I do for money!
Worked 8-2 mon morning, then 11pm-8am tues morning, then 6pm-mid earlier, and back in work at 9am later!!
Not had any snow here, but loads of rain, hail and sleet. Oh and ice..lots of ice everywhere!! Entire paths covered in sheets of it, and cars freezing up and people being unable to open doors!

And the best part of it? I was flaming out in it monday morning!!
It was fancy dress day in work, so I wore one of the military outfits. The upside was people liked it and thought I was in the TA or reg army as they thought it looked so good, and customers were even asking (and panicking) why the army had been called out and was the weather that bad! You see, because I was apparently best kitted out already, they had me outside sodding gritting around the front of the store where people were likely to slip on ice, then was over the garage gritting the forcort, before finally ending up on bloody trolleys! Hence the customers thinking the army had been called out. Was like trying to wade through a slush puppy the slushy stuff was so thick still!
The overnight shift was pretty boring, we had 2 customers between 12 and 6am, and 1 of those was just after 12! Ended up helping to stock..frozen foods!! Why do they make me freeze all the time? Upon finishing, had to get the bus home, but walking up the hill was like walking up an iceberg, and was having to pull myself along the railings!

Back on earlys now until jan..bah..ive so not missed the mornings..

§ Journal: I've spent all evening watching the old Indiana Jones films and redoing my journal layout. Yes, I do have twenty-million other things I could (read: should) have been doing but this was way more fun! ;D


I've been trying to find some new graphics to use as a header and a F/O banner but so far have found diddly squat so I'm sticking with my Torchwood banner/animations and no header for the rest of this evening at least!

My productiveness, let me show you it! XD

§ Festive Wishes: I lie a little bit actually, I also went through some of the wish requests on my [ Festive Wishes ] post (which'll officially close Thursday evening for anyone still dithering over whether to make a wish or not) and I've pretty much picked a wish from everyone so far and started making *plans* for them. It's kind of exciting actually!

§ Dean/Castiel Fireplace: On top of this I made some notes for my dc_fireplace  entry (due 12/Jan). I get the whole day to post so am swithering over whether to just write/post the fic I'd inititally planned or to write a series of interconnecting drabbles or something to post over the course of the day. I'm not really sure, but I assume the fact I tend to leave these things to the very last minute, no matter how early on I start thinking about them, will eventually decide on which way I go with this XD

In related news, I participated in the [ drabble-tree ] which kicked off day one of the fireplace (it sadly didn't end up as popular as it could have, alas). The idea was to take a phrase from a previous drabble and write your own drabble including that phrase. I thought I'd share my wee contribution for those interested:

Well, I've changed my mind on the order. I'm pushing Zac into 2nd and bumping Tahmoh up to first. Because, after watching the latest episodes of Dollhouse (twice. shush, I watched them myself then showed my Mum), I realised I was OUT OF MY FREAKING MIND putting Tahmoh in 2nd. What the HELL was I thinking? I was having momentary delusions.



Yes, bb, proud 1st.

Now, I go back to listening to the Glee soundtrack. :D (And singing XD )
