Wow it's actually been six months since I last completed a video. I've started a fair few but I rarely seem to have the time or attention span to actually finish one these days. I think I've just about figured out everything there is to know about MoviePlus now and I'm thinking about upgrading. Ideally of course I'd like Final Cut Pro but seeing as Final Cut Studio would cost me over £800 and I'd then have to buy a Mac on top of that (I've always been a PC girl) that's not really plausible. Sony Vegas is my second choice at the moment I think. Can anyone recommend any other editing software aside from Serif MoviePlus or Adobe Premiere?

Anyway! Back on topic - I'm fairly pleased with this vid considering it hasn't been produced in the best conditions (my step-sister has become constantly attached to the piano the past few days so I've been struggling to hear even with headphones on) and I had a few mishaps along the way (MoviePlus decided it was going to start random effects and opacity handles). There are a few bits that didn't turn out as well as I'd like but I managed to create pretty much what I had in my head to some degree of success. I've seen so many fanvids that portray the spunky funny side of Vala but very few that show the more serious side to her and that show the trials that she's been through so that was the angle I took with this vid. The biggest thing that I'm disappointed about is the vid feels like it's just random Vala!angst to me and doesn't have a clear direction or any development of a storyline.
