Abigail Marissa @ LiveJournal - Journal - Details About Friending Me

I'm always happy to talk to new people and make new friends over LiveJournal however this is my personal journal where my opinions and thoughts go pretty much unfiltered so in order to avoid offending anyone I'm going to request that you please read the points below before friending me. If you have read through this entry and are just sure you'd like to friend me then go right ahead and comment here letting me know who you are and why you have friended me and I'll add you right back! :)

Don't friend me if you're never going to comment. I'm not one of those people who just likes to boast about how many friends I have on LJ because I really couldn't care less about an arbitrary number. I don't expect you to read my journal every single day, you probably don't have time for that, hell I don't even post every day anyway, but it'd be nice if you posted every so often.

Please don't get pissy if I don't post on your journal all the time either. I'm going to university in a year and I have a hell of a lot of my hands right now with applications, college work, and my videos and graphics. However, I do try to check up on everyone on my f-list every now and again and make sure you guys are all okay.

You should also be aware that I'm a very opinionated person and these opinions are expressed openly in my friends only entries. If you have a quick-temper or get angry when people express views that disagree with yours then please don't friend me. I have no problem with you expressing your views or giving me a different insight into a matter, but there's no need to get angry or aggressive when doing so.

When I say I'm opinionated, I mean that I'm also very critical of the shows and movies that I watch. That doesn't mean that I don't like them (I watch them after all), and I don't intend to "diss" anyone that does, my critique is simply my views and not proven facts. I'm a media student, I used to also be a drama student, so it's been drilled into my nature for a very long time to be critical and to see the flaws in things. So, again, if you're easily offended then I'm probably not the best person to friend.

Also, I'm not always the most cheerful person on the planet so most of my journal entries won't exactly brighten your day. I use my journal to rant and post crap about my real life that pisses my off so if you can't be bothered wading through all that rubbish to get to the more cheerful entries then you might want to think again about adding me.

That's about all I have to say! Sorry for the rant but I'm not all that bad (I hope!), I'm just trying to avoid upsetting anyone. If you're not easily offended or anything then go right ahead and friend me and I'll look forward to getting to know you!
